Managing Site Operations

The site operation would generally be controlled by a central Web Team or Steering Group, however depending on the type of organisation this operation may fall to many different departments controlling different areas of a single Easysite installation.
We would recommend that Risk and Security considerations be key items on the agenda of the Web Team or Steering Group. Regular risk assessments should be performed that include although are not exclusive to:

  • The nature of your available information and services.
  • The legislative compliance of your information and services.
  • The security procedures and policies of your organisation.
  • The human resources security considerations.
  • The physical and environmental security considerations.
  • Information access control, authentication and encryption.
  • The ongoing development and maintenance of the solution.
  • Incident management and business continuity processes and procedures.
