Why do I get an error when I attempt to add a note to an existing request?

Description

We have an outstanding incident and seem to receive an error every time we attempt to edit the request to add a new note.

Did you add any code or error messages directly into the description or notes of the request?

You should avoid adding code or non-standard characters into the fields when submitting a request as this can cause issues.

Solution

If example code or symbols need to be supplied with a request, please attach them in a text file or word document.

If this was not the issue, please contact the Easysite Service Desk with the associated Service Reference number if available and they will investigate the issue in more detail.
