Creating and categorising messages to other Users.

Post a message

To view messages select the appropriate Project and click Messages. The following view will be presented:

Note: messages marked as important will be promoted to the top of the list.

Note: messages may be filtered by category or user.

1. To add a new message click Post new message. The following view will be presented:

2. Edit/configure:


Enter an appropriate title for the message


Enter the body of the message.


If required, click Add attachment... to browse for or drag and drop an attachment.

Note: attachments will only be available if Attachment has been enabled via Features.


If required select an appropriate Category for the message.

Note: Project Managers will see the option to add new categories at this point.


If required, check to flag the message as important and promote it to the top of the messages tab.


Click Add user... to select one or more users for notification.

Note: these users will receive email notification of the message. However, the email will not contain the content of the message.

3. Click Save.

Note: members of a project have fifteen minutes to edit the content of their message if required.

Replying to a Message

To reply to a message click Post a comment. The following view will be presented:
