Template Elements Specific to Portals

Portal Asset Lister

The Portal Asset Lister creates a list of assets which the end user can add to their portal. For example:

1.Drag and drop the Portal Asset Lister element onto the Portal:

2. Configure the element:

3. Edit/Configure:

Asset Category

Click Change to select an appropriate asset category.

Asset Type

Select the appropriate option.

Title

Enter an appropriate title for the portlet.

No Assets Select Message

Enter an appropriate message to displayed before the user has added images to the list.

Can be Hidden

Check if required.

Note: if this option is selected, select whether or not the portlet is to be hidden by default.

Collapsible

Check if required.

Note: if this option is selected, select whether or not the portlet is to be collapsed by default.

Portal Bookmarks

End users may be allowed to bookmark some or all of the pages on the site. The Portal Bookmarks element allows the end user to manage their bookmarked pages. For example:

1. Drag and drop the Portal Bookmarks element onto the Portal:

2. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:

3. Edit/configure:

Title

Add an appropriate title for the list of bookmarks.

Display Page Bookmarks

Check if required.

Display Document Bookmarks

Check if required.

Can be Hidden

Check if required.

Note: if this option is selected check to determine if the portlet is hidden by default.

Collapsible

Check if required.

Note: if this option is selected, check to determine if the portlet is collapsed by default.

Portal Navigator

Portal Navigator displays a list of categories. The suer can then click through the child categories. At the bottom level pages associated with that category are presented as links.

1. Drag and drop the Portal Navigator onto the template:

2. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:

3. Edit/configure:

Title

Enter an appropriate title for the category list.

Initial default category

Click change to browse for an appropriate category.

Depth to Switch from Categories to Pages

Enter an appropriate number.

Can be Hidden

Check if required.

Note: if this option is selected the option to make the portlet hidden by default is presented.

Collapsible

Check if required

Note: if this option is selected, the option to make the portlet collapsed by default is presented.
