Date Field Element
This element provides a date field in a database. The format is DD/MM/YYYY.
Typical result of a date field when populating the database is:
1. Drag and drop the ‘Date Field’ element into the appropriate location:

Field
Enter the element (database) label.
Default Value
If required, enter an optional default value.
Physical Width
Enter the width in percentage of the page for the element.
Answer on a New Line
Tick to place the answer field below the question. Useful where the amount of text stored in the database field is likely to be large.
Display Friendly Date
Check if required.
Default Value
If required, select the current date from the dropdown.
Default Date Off-Set
If required, use the dropdowns to create an off-set.
Must be Filled In
You can force the web author to complete the field.
Detail Page Options
Select whether this field is displayed when the full (i.e. detailed) database record is displayed. Useful if some fields need to be searchable but hidden from view.
Summary Page Options
Selects whether this field is displayed in the summary listing. Also, allows the field to be displayed as a link, which, when clicked, display the detailed database record. You can also list the data ordered on the basis of this element.
Note: if required select Order Records by This Field. This option allows the user to click on the field label and sort entries by this field.
Listing Page Options
Selects whether this field is display when the directory is rendered as a list.
Note: this option applies if the directory is to be displayed via an RSS feed.

Show Key/Value Pair
Tick to display the question and data when viewing individual records.
4.Click Update Element to save.
