Field
Enter the element (database) label.
Default Value
If required, enter an optional default value
Physical Width
Enter the width in percentage of the page for the element.
Character Limit
Maximum number of characters that can be entered.
Pad with zeros up to minimum width
If required, enter an appropriate number of zeros which will be added to the beginning of the data.
Answer On a New Line
Check to place the answer field below the question.
Auto-populate with an EasySite Id number
Check if required.
Validation
If required, check to force the web author to complete the field.
Min. Value – enter a minimum value if desired.
Max. Value – enter a maximum value if desired.
Details page Options
Select whether this field is displayed when the full (i.e. detailed) database record is displayed. Useful if some fields need to be searchable but hidden from view.
Summary Page Options
Selects whether this field is displayed in the summary listing. Also, allows the field to be displayed as a link, which, when clicked, display the detailed database record.
Note: if required select Order Records by This Field. This option allows the user to click on the field label and sort entries by this field.
Listing Page Options
Selects whether this field is displayed when the directory is rendered as a list.
Note: this option applies if the directory is to be displayed via an RSS feed.

Include in Keyword Search
Specifies whether a keyword search of the directory should include the values of this database field.
Provide as Search Option
If required, check to provide a dedicated search field for this element.
Show Key Value/Pair
Checking this option shows both the field name and the corresponding value on the detail page. Unchecking will show only the value.
Display as Header
Check to display the element content as the header of the record.
