Manage Directory Categories

Directory Builder allows users to assign a category(ies) to a particular directory record, so similar entries can be grouped together.

Add a Category

Go to Administration -> Modules -> Directory. Select the appropriate directory and click Manage Categories.

System Categories – this displays all the categories contained within EasySite.

Directory Categories – this displays the list of categories that could be assigned to a particular directory entry.

1. Highlight the appropriate system category.

2. Highlight Top Level with the directory category list and click Add Category.

Removing a Category

To remove a category from a directory, highlight the appropriate category and click Remove Category.

Note: a confirmation message will be presented.

Reorder Categories

To reorder categories, select Reorder Categories. Drag and drop the categories to create the required order.
