Discussion ForumĀ User Privileges

Assigning privileges

1. Go to Administration -> Users & Groups -> Groups. The following view will be presented:

2. Select the required Group and click Privileges.

3. From the drop down box, select the ‘Modules’ category:

4. Check the required options:

Manage Discussion Forum - allows the user to manage existing instances of discussion forum in Administration, and add forums to pages.

Moderate Forum Post - allows the user to moderate new posts.

Author Discussion Forums - allows the user to create new forums.

Forum Administration - allows the user to manage all aspects of forums

Forum Topic Creation - allows the user to create new topics within a forum.

5. Click Save and then Finished.
