Site setup
To manage configuration for the site go to Administration -> System -> Site Set Up.
1. Edit/configure:
Hide Page Title from Title Bar
Check if required.
Enable Additional Title Bar Text (via Meta Tag)
Check if required.
Note: if this option is to be utilising an appropriate Meta Tag it must be created with the option 'Append Tag Contents to Web Page Title' enabled.
Hide Fixed Title Bar Text
Check if required.
Fixed Title Bar Text
Enter appropriate text.
Title Bar Text Order
Select the appropriate option.
Maximum page title length (max 128 characters)
Enter an appropriate value.
Enforce Page Summary Maximum Length
Check if required.
Page Summary Maximum Length
Enter an appropriate value.
Allow manual population of Publication Date
Check if required.
Note: the publication date is added via the details interface.
Enforce Accessibility
If required, check to prevent pages with incorrectly ordered subheadings from being published.
Custom Error Page
Enter the URL of a page which is presented to the end user when an error occurs. A static html page could be used, however It is recommended that a dedicated page be created within the site for this purpose.
Note: The Custom Error Page page must be publicly available (i.e. not be scheduled, and has the 'everyone' read permission applied). If the Error page is restricted an error will be generated which may result in a loop which could affect server performance.
404 (Page Not Found) Page
Enter the URL of a page which is presented to the end user when a URL can not be found. A static html page could be used, however It is recommended that a dedicated page be created within the site for this purpose.
Note: The 404 page must be publicly available (i.e. not be scheduled, and has the 'everyone' read permission applied). If the 404 page is restricted a 404 error will be generated which may result in a loop which could affect server performance.
Ignored Paths
Ignore Paths are used to tell Easysite that a particular URL does not exist within the installation. For example, a page might redirect to an application hosted externally to the Easysite database.
To add an ignore path click Add to create an appropriate path.
First Name
Enter an appropriate value.
Last Name
Enter an appropriate value.
Email
Enter an appropriate email address.
Group to notify when fetching external RSS causes errors
Select the appropriate option.
Navigation Style
Select the appropriate option.
Show Path Siblings
If required, check to expose sibling of the parent of the current page in the navigation.
Note: specific CSS may be required in order for this option to render on a page.
Enable automatic sign in via IP range(s)
Check if required.
Automatic sign in page path
Enter an appropriate value.
Redirect for homepage only
Check if required.
Auto Sign In IP List
Click Add IP to add IP addresses.
Note: to allow auto sign on create a guest user account and associate one or more of these IP addresses.

Hit Tracker IP Exclusion List
Click Add IP to add IP addresses.
Enable User Agent Login
Check if required.
User Agent List
This functionality allows for user agents such as Google to access and index content while still keeping it secured to external access.
Note: that you will also be required to associate a user agent record with a user account to allow user agent access.
Redirect to URL: (Leave blank for default)
Enter an appropriate URL.
Message Forwarding
Check to allow new users to receive messages.
Note: users may change this setting via my account.
Send Email to Users when Validated by Admin
Check if required.
Enforce Spellchecking
Check if required.
Enforce Page Categorisation
Check if required.
Make review date mandatory
Check if required.
Default Review Period (days)
Enter an appropriate value.
Review Notification
Select the appropriate option.
Reminder Notification
Select the appropriate option.
Reminder Period (days)
Enter an appropriate value.
Automatically redirect mobile devices
If Mobile Device Support is being utilised, user may be automatically redirected to the mobile site. Check if required.
Interstitial page
Click change to select a page containing the mobile device page element.
Enforce SSL
Select the appropriate option.
Enable AutoSave
If required, check to enable the auto saving of page content after a pre-determined time period.
AutoSave interval (minutes)
Enter an appropriate value.
Notification time (minutes)
Enter an appropriate value.
Capture Mode
Select the appropriate option.
Document Type
Select the appropriate option.
2. Click Save Settings.
