Managing Existing Groups

To manage existing users go to Administration -> Users and Groups -> Groups and the following toolbar will be presented:

Manage Groups

Status

The status option configures the groups displayed in the view. The drop-down can be changed to display active, inactive or all groups.

Note: that by default this will be configured to all when you first access the view.

Site

The site option configured the groups that display in the view. The drop-down can be changed to present groups from all sites in your Easysite installation or can be used to specify an individual site.

Note: that by default you will only be presented with the groups created on the specific microsite you are viewing. To view groups from other sites in your Easysite installation, update the 'Site' drop-down box visible in the above screenshot and select the site you are attempting to browse.

Keywords

The keywords field can be used to find groups based on the 'Group' name or 'Group Description' specified within the group details.

A to Z

The A - Z can be used to browse your groups based on the fields displayed in the view.

Note: that you will need to click the heading name of the field you wish to use the A - Z sorting against.

Group Sorting

Group

The name configured for the group.

Members

The members field displays how many users are present within the specific group.

Applicants

The applicants field displays if any applicants are currently waiting to be added to the specific group.

Provider

The provider field will contain details if the specific group is present through the use of an Authentication Connector.

Active

The active option highlights whether a group is active in Easysite.

Note: that if the checkbox is not enabled, the group in question will not work within the site and contained users will not have the privileges and permissions associated with the group.

Remove

The remove option is used to delete one or multiple groups from your site.

Note: that to remove a group from Easysite select the 'Remove' checkbox for the required user and select the 'Delete' button.
