Blog Element
Before blog entries can be created the Blogging module needs to be added to a page or template.
1. Drag and drop the Blogging element onto the page or template:
2. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:
3. Edit/Configure:
Select blog
Select the appropriate blog from the dropdown list of published blogs.
Show Blog-Entry Title as Link
If required check to make the title of the post a link to read the full post.
Recent Posts Title
Enter a title for the list of recent blog entries.
Archived/Older Posts Title
Enter a title for the list of archived blog entries
Tagged Posts Navigation Title
If categories have been associated with the Blog, use this field to create a title for the category list.
Configuration source
Selecting Blogger Module uses the Manage Blog settings for the module. Alternatively, these settings can be overridden by local configuration.
Login Page URL
If required click change to create an internal link to the login page. Non-logged in users will be redirected here.
Registration Page URL
If required click change to create an internal link to the registration page. Non-logged in users will be redirected here.
Display Blog Navigation
Check to display a navigation containing archived posts, date filters and tags.
Posted by/on
If required enter appropriate labels for these fields.
Comments Post Label/Link
Enter appropriate text.
Tag label
Enter appropriate text for the category label.
Summary Limit
Enter an appropriate character limit.
Show Avatar in Summary
Check if required.
Blog Layout
Select the appropriate option.
Type of comments form
Select the appropriate option.
Note: advanced allows the administrator to define labels for comments fields. This option also exposes contact me and notification of moderation options
Comment Moderation Feedback Users who have had comments moderated will receive feedback on their comments. Configure a subject and preliminary text for the feedback email.
