Cross-Site Publication

Cross-Site Publication is used to replicate content across different sites, usually when a dedicated mobile friendly site has been implemented. In most scenarios cross site publication has been superseded by  a single site utilising Responsive Web Design.

Cross-Site publication utilises an Article container element on a source site. Any content within this container is replicated with an Article Consumer element on a page on the target site.

Once the appropriate privileges have been assigned, the administrator may configure templates on both the source site and the target site(s), adding these templates to categories. The administrator may then configure the Cross-Site Publication module of the source site and select the template categories to be used on the target site(s).

Workflow is utilised to auto create pages on the target site(s).
