Questions or outcomes in the Decision Tree are referred to a Nodes.
New Node
To create a new Node go to Administration -> Apps -> Modules -> Decision Tree. Select the appropriate Decision Tree. The following view is presented:
1. Click New Node. The following view will be presented:
2. Select the appropriate node type. Click Result or Question.
If Result is selected edit/configure the following fields:
Name
Enter an appropriate name for the node.
Node Content Type
Select the appropriate option. If text is selected enter text below. If Data Store Record is selected the following fields are exposed:
Data Store
Select the appropriate DataStore.
Record
Select the appropriate record.
View
Select the appropriate view.
Associated Page
If the node is a result click change to associate the node with a page from the site.
Allow Add to Basket
Check if required.
Result Relationships
If required, associate the result with one or more additional results.
If Question is selected the following view is presented:
Answers
If required, rename or reorder the default answers. Alternatively select New Answer to add an additional option.
Delete Node
To delete a Node, check the delete option for the appropriate Node and click Delete.
Note: a confirmation message will be presented.
Reorder Nodes
To reorder the nodes, click Reorder Nodes. The following view will be presented:
1. Drag and drop the Nodes to create the required order, and click Save.
