Directory Quick Search

The Quick search allows an administrator to create a bespoke search function, utilising a specified directory. For example:

Directory Quick Search Element 

1. Drag and drop the Directory Quick Search element onto the appropriate page or template:

2. Configure the element:

3. Edit/configure:


Select Add to expose a list of active Directories. Select the required Directory and click Add. Repeat as required to allow the element to search multiple Directories.

Search Page

Select the page the results of the search will be displayed on. This page should an instance of each Directory being searched.

Field to search

Select a searchable item from the target Directory for the Quick Search element to search within. Typically, the keyword search element would be select, in order to search the whole Directory for a term. However, any Directory element where Provide as a Search Option has been selected may be chosen.
