Importing Data
Comma Separated Values (.csv) or xml files can be imported into Directory Builder. However, the CSV file must have column labels in the first row.
Note that Data Exchange may be used to import other types of data in a Directory.
To import records go to Administration -> Apps -> Modules -> Directory. Select the appropriate directory and click Options -> Import Records:
1. Select the appropriate Source Format, then Browse to locate appropriate file and select Upload File.
2. Map the required fields:
Local Categories
Local categories allow records to mapped to Directory Categories.
Page Categories
Page Categories allow records to be mapped to Page Categories.
Fields
Fields are used to map columns on the CSV to fields within the Directory.
