Permissions determine which groups may view the forum and which groups may participate.
Permissions
To set Forum permissions go to Administration -> Apps -> Modules -> Discussion Forum.
1. Select the appropriate discussion board. The following view will be presented:
2. Select Manage Permissions. The following view will be presented:
3. Switch the Filter Groups options to Unassigned, and check to assign the appropriate permissions.
Note: read allows users to post
Write allows users to edit and delete posts
4. Click Save and then Finished.
