Manage eShop

Configuring basic eShop settings such as the payment provider, basket page and notification emails.

Create eShop

To create an instance of eShop go to Administration -> Apps -> Modules -> eShop

    

1. Select Create eShop. the following view will be presented:

2. Edit/configure:

Name

Enter an appropriate name for the eShop instance.

Shipping Calculator

The Shipping Calculator is an API which undertakes appropriate calculations for weight and distance. Select the appropriate calculator.

Apply Tax to Shipping

Check if required.

Payment Provider

Select the appropriate option, and enter the relevant account information for that provider..

Note: additional information is available regarding the Barclays CPI payment provider.

Product Root Page

eShop may auto create pages for news as they are created products. if this option is to be utilised, select a parent page for the individual product pages.

Product Page Template

In order to auto-generate a page for a product, a product template should be created. This template should include on or more Product Property elements and an Add to Basket element. Select the required template.

eShop Emails

If required, use token to configure an email template. The emails will be generated during the order process.

Country to Use for Currency

Select the appropriate option.

Billing and Shipping Countries

Check the appropriate options.

3. Click Save

Configurable Shop Plugins

To further configure the eShop instance configure the following plugins: 

  • Product ListThe Product List element allows a list of products to be displayed on a page. Before the element can be used labels must be configured.
  • eShop - Add to BasketThe Add to Basket element allows products to be added to a user's basket. In order for the element to function the location of the Basket page must be added to the eShop configuration.
  • Product Catalog ListA Product Catalog is a list of related products. A product may exist in more than one Catalog - for example, Seasonal and Special Offers. Before a Catalog can be created labels must be configured.
