Booking allows an Administrator to control which Groups - if any - may book onto Events in the calendar.

Booking attendance

To define booking rules forĀ Events go to Administration -> Modules -> Events.

1. Select the appropriate Events instance and click Options.

2. Select Setup and then booking. The following view will be presented:

3. Edit/configure:

Select the appropriate option.

Note: if Available to nominated groups is selected, check to select the appropriate group(s).

Capacity Warning Message

Enter an appropriate message to be displayed to users once an event is almost full.

Default booking method

Select the appropriate option.

Note: the Events Module includes a dedicating booking function. However, an alternative page may be selected in the case of a third party booking function or for chargeable events. In the case of chargeable events, this page should contain a Form which includes an eShop Variable Product element.

4. Click Save.
