The Quick Search creates simplified search which is typically added to home or landing page. An example of the Quick Search in use is illustrated below:

To add the Quick Search to a page, drag and drop the NHS Choices – Quick Search element to the page or template:
1. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:
2. Edit/configure:
Data Source
Select the appropriate option.
Style
Select the appropriate option.
Results page
Click Change to select a page where the search results are to be displayed.
Configure the element as per the selected Data Source:
