A Legacy URL is used to redirect from URLs in a previous iteration of the site to a location in the new site. For example to redirect from:
http://resources.easysitecms.net/new-content-awaiting-publication/modules/path-manager/managing-path-manager/legacy-url.aspx
to:
http://resources.easysitecms.net/new-content-awaiting-publication/modules/path-manager/managing-path-manager/legacy-url/
Path Manager
To create a Legacy URL go to Administration -> Apps -> Modules -> Path Manager.
1. Click Add and select Legacy URL. The following view will be presented:
2. Edit/configure:
Name
Enter an appropriate name for the legacy URL. This name is used for internal reference.
URL
Enter the Legacy URL.
Target Path
Click Choose to select the page that the URL will redirect to.
3. Click Save.
