Reverse Caching Proxy

The Reverse Caching Proxy module utilises a Varnish server to more efficiently process requests. When a a client requests a page, the  request goes through Varnish Cache. Varnish will serve the content if it’s in the cache, otherwise it will “fetch” the content from Easysite.

This content can then be cached for subsequent requests of the same nature. Cached content can be delivered much faster than any dynamically generated content.

Reverse Proxy Caching network requires components to be installed on the network and configuration of the web.config file. Once these components have been installed, site page caching rules can be created. Finally, specific settings relating to data in the caching server can be configured.
