The Search Framework module allows greater control over the appearance of the search, in addition to allowing end users to report issues with the search. For example:
Once the appropriate privileges have been assigned, the Search Framework may be configured. If users are allowed to report unsuccessful searches configure the notification email body and recipients.
Administrators may also assign icons to search result types.
Finally, add the search framework view element to a page and view search reports.
