Tell a Friend is used to advise and individual that a page exists and they should view it.
Tell a Friend page Element
1. Drag and Drop the Tell A Friend element to the appropriate place on the page or template:
2. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:
3. Edit/Configure:
Title
Create an appropriate heading for the element.
Referer
Select the appropriate option.
Thank You Message
Enter text that will be displayed to the user making the recommendation.
For example: "Thank you for recommending this page".
Success Redirect URL
Enter the URL of the page where the sender will be directed to once the recommendation has been successfully sent.
Tell Another Friend Link
Enter appropriate text for the link.
Note: once a recommendation has been made Easysite will present the Thank You Message and the Tell Another Friend Link.
Sender Email Address Required
Check to make the senders email address mandatory.
Send as HTML
Check if required.
Email Subject
Enter the subject of the email the recipient will receive.
Note: this can be configured using the tokens detailed below the element.
Email Body
Enter the body text of the email.
