Shortcuts allow for the creation of vanity URLs which point directly to an asset in the Asset Manager. This is useful if an Asset is referenced in printed material. Shortcuts are created via the Asset itself, either when uploaded to the Asset Manager or by editing the Asset in the Administration interface.
Manage Asset Shortcuts
To view existing Asset Shortcuts go to Administration -> Content -> Assets -> Shortcuts. The following view will be presented:
1. Select the required Asset Shortcut URL:
2. Select the required option:
Select Asset
Select an alternative Asset from the Asset Manager for the Shortcut to point to.
Upload
Upload a new Asset to the Asset Manager for the Shortcut to point to.
Asset Shortcut URL
Enter new text for the URL.
3. Click Save.
