A Schema is a defined list of Tags, such as Dublin Core or the Open Graph Protocol.
Add
To add a Schema go to Administration -> Content -> Categories & Tags -> Tags. The following view will presented:
1. Select Schemas and click Add. The following view will be presented:
2. Edt/configure:
Schema Name
Enter the name of the Schema, for example Open Graph Protocol.
Property Prefix
Enter the recognised short prefix for the Schema. For example 'og' for Open Graph
Property Delimiter
Enter the appropriate separator between the prefix and the title of the of Tag. Using the og example above and adding the delimiter : would give generate the following Tag:
<meta property="og:title" content="Resource Centre example" />
Schema URI
Enter an address where information about the Schema is available, for example: http://ogp.me/
Publish Schema
Check to make the Schema live.
3. Click Save.
Adding Meta Tags to Schemas
To associated one or more Tags with a Schema go to Administration -> Content -> Categories & Tags -> Tags.
1. Click Schemas and click to select the appropriate Schema.
2. Select Associated Tags. The following view will be presented:
3. Check to select the required Tags and click Associate.
Permissions
To apply Permissions to a Schema go to Administration -> Content -> Categories & Tags -> Tags.
1. Click Schemas and click to select the appropriate Schema.
2. Select Permissions. The following view will be presented:
3. Check to grant Permissions to the appropriate group(s).
4. Click Update and Save.
Editing a Schema
To edit an existing Schema go to Administration -> Content -> Categories & Tags -> Tags.
1. Click Schemas and click to select the appropriate Schema.
2. Edit the Schema as detailed above.
