Heading

The Heading element allows an Author to add a heading to an Easysite page and applies a H1 - or Header 1 tag to this heading. An example of the heading element in use could be:

1. Drag and drop the Heading element on to the page or template:

2. Configure the element. The following view will be presented:

3. Edit/configure:

Is Hidden

Check if required.

Tag

If required, select the appropriate Header Tag for the heading element.

Class

If required, assign a stylesheet class to the element.

Unique identifier

If required, assign unique styling to the element via a unique identifier.

Auto Populate From Page Title

If required, check to automatically generate the page Heading from the Title added when the page was created.

Default Text

If required enter default text. This text will be presented whenever a new page is created using the template.
