The Message Centre element adds an Easysite message centre functionality to the page. An example of the Message Centre element in use would be:

Age filter
Enter an appropriate value. Note: messages will only be sent to users above this age.
Own Groups Only
If required, check to restrict users to messaging members of their own group(s).
Filter Mode
Filter mode allows the Administrators to create a list of users or groups which may be messaged.
Filter List
Click Change to select the user or groups the filter mode applies to. As an illustration, if the Filter Mode is set to Allow and only the Registered Users group is selected from the filter list, the end user will be restricted to only messaging members of the Registered user group. Alternatively, if the Filter Mode is set to Deny, the end user would be able to message any Easysite user, except those in the Registered Users group.
