General

Configuring the Registration element to determine which basic account fields the user will complete during the registration process.

Registration

1. Configure the element and select the General tab. The following view will be presented:

2. Edit/configure:

Account Type

Select to create the account as a Public (non-editing) or System (editing) user.

Allow users to set member profile visibility

If required, check to allow the user to control whether their details are displayed via the Members element.

Account validation mode

Select the appropriate option.

Initial message

If required, define the on-screen message presented before the registration fields.

Registration pre-fill options

If the user already has an Easysite account and is registering for additional access, check to prefill core fields or all data from the existing account.

Register button text

Enter appropriate text for the 'Register' button.

Title

Select the appropriate option.

Show organisation field

Select the appropriate option.

Note: if the Membership module is utilised select Show Organisation Picker to allow the registrant to select from a pre-defined list of organisations.

Role

Select the appropriate option.

Nickname

Select the appropriate option.

Date of birth

Select the appropriate option.

Gender

Select the appropriate option.

Phone

Select the appropriate option.

Mobile

Select the appropriate option.

Fax

Select the appropriate option.

Web

Select the appropriate option.

Terms and Conditions

Select the appropriate option.

Note: if Terms and Conditions are shown configure the following fields:

Terms and Conditions

Enter an appropriate label for Terms and Conditions. A checkbox will be presented next to his label, allowing the user to accept.

Terms and Conditions link text

If required, enter appropriate text for a link to a terms and conditions page.

Terms and Conditions Link

Click Choose to select the terms and conditions page.

Show email address confirmation

If required, check to force the user to enter their email address twice.

Show (Re)captcha

If required, select to include a CAPTCHA option in the registration element.

Note: if this option is selected select the appropriate CAPTCHA mode.

Custom record type

By default, the Registration element captures core Easysite account fields. To capture additional information select either Extended Record or Registration Form.

Registration form

Select the appropriate Registration Form.
