Organisations

Within the Membership module, Members can be allocated to Organisations. Note that Organisations can have subsidiaries - for example a regional branch - and all organisations and subsidiaries should be created via the Add Organisation interface.

The Add Organisation interface presents a series of default fields for recording information about an Organisation. These fields can be extended via a Template, and additional fields should be created prior to adding Organisations to the site.


Adding Organisations

To add an Organisation, go to Administration -> People -> Membership -> Organisations. The following view will be presented:

The following options are available:

  • Add OrganisationsAdding a new Organisation in the Membership Module.
  • OptionsConfiguring Options in the Membership Module, including extending the Organisation record via a template interface and recording contributions made by an organisation.
