Site Locales

Languages and regions may be combined to create a Locale, a location specific version of a page, for example Swiss German.

Manage locales 

To manage locales go to Administration -> Languages -> Locales. The following view will be presented:

1. Edit/configure:

Restrict Navigation To Active Locale Only

If required, check to ensure that once an end user selects a locale, pages which do not exist as active locale pages are hidden from the user.

Suppress auto locale selection via user webbrowser 

By default Easysite will interrogate the users' browser language settings. If an appropriate locale exists it will automatically present that locale to the user. If required, check to override this function.
