Add New Site

Adding a new site to the Easysite installation.

Basic Site Properties

To add a new site go to Administration -> System -> Sites.

1. Click Add New Site. The following view will be presented

Note that the new site must be configured on the Server. Clients hosting with Easysite should raise a Service Request in relation to this issue, or contact your Account Manager.

2. Edit/configure:

Site Name

Enter an appropriate name for the site.

Description

Enter an appropriate description for the site.

Automatic PDF Conversion

If the PDF Converter module has been installed, conversion to PDF be set as a default for new Assets added to the Asset Manager.

Primary Host Name

Enter the primary URL for the site.

Administrator Username

Each new site includes one initial System User account. Create an appropriate username for the initial administration account.

Account Description

Enter an appropriate description for the administration account.

Password

Enter an appropriate password for the administration account.

Minimum/maximum keyword density

Enter appropriate values for the Readability checker.

Bad Phrases for Hyperlinks

Enter appropriate phrases. These phrases will be identified by the Readability checker.
