To access configuration settings related to Pages on the site go to:

  • Content -> Pages -> Options -> Setup 
  • Content -> Assets -> Options -> Setup 
  • Setup -> Site 
  • System -> Configuration


Select Site, and then Pages:

1. Either search for or select the required function:

In this section...

  • AutosaveEnable the automatic saving of pages to draft during the editing process.
  • CategorisationConfigure mandatory Page Categorisation.
  • DescriptionSet a character limit for the Page Description.
  • LocalesConfigure navigation options for Locales.
  • NavigationConfigure options relating to the display of pages in the navigation.
  • PathsConfigure the location of the error and 404 pages, and create ignore paths.
  • ReviewConfigure default review periods, and enforce spelling and accessibility checks.
  • SecurityIf SSL has been enabled for the site, select how encryption is applied to pages.
  • StandardsA Doctype is an instruction to the web browser about what version of HTML the page is written in. Select the appropriate Doctype for the site.
  • TitleA title tag appears in the browser tab, and should be an accurate and concise description of a page's content. Configure settings relating to title tags.
