A title tag appears in the browser tab, and should be an accurate and concise description of a page's content. to configure settings relating to title tags go to:
- Content -> Pages -> Options -> Setup
- Content -> Assets -> Options -> Setup
- Setup -> Site
- System -> Configuration
Select Site, and then Pages -> Title:

Remove page title from title bar
By default, Easysite populates the title tag with the page title. Check if not required.
Enable metadata title bar text
This option has been superseded by the page title bar text function.
Remove fixed title bar text
Check if required
Fixed title bar text
Enter appropriate text. This is typically the name of the organisation.
Title bar text order
Select the required order. Typically the title bar text is followed by the fixed text and separated with a pipe. This generates page title | organisation name.
Maximum title bar length
Enter a required value. This is typically 50 to 60 characters.
All pages
If required, click to removed in page title bar text and reinstate the default.
