Ensure that new users receive email notifications from Easysite and, if required, confirmation that their account has been validated. To configure new user settings go to:
- Content -> Pages -> Options -> Setup
- Content -> Assets -> Options -> Setup
- Setup -> Site
- System -> Configuration
Select Site, and then People -> Users -> New users:

Message forwarding
Check to enable the user to receive messages and tasks via email.
Send validation confirmation
If user accounts created via a registration form require administrator validation, check to ensure that the user receives confirmation when the account is validated. Note: the confirmation email can be configured via email templates.
