Asset versions
When an author or administrator edits and republishes a Page, a new version of that Page is created. Administrators may implement rules to manage the retention of older Page versions. Retention may be based on a maximum number of versions to be retained or by time period. To configure Versioning go to:
- Content -> Pages -> Options -> Setup
- Content -> Assets -> Options -> Setup
- Setup -> Site
- System -> Configuration
Select System -> Pages -> Versioning:
1. Edit/configure:
Maximum versions
Enter the maximum number of versions to be retained for each page.
Keep for (days)
Enter the number of days which older page versions should be retained.
