Users allows administrators to configure retention periods for search data. This data may be viewed via the Search report.


To access Search to go to:    

  • Content -> Pages -> Options -> Setup   
  • Content -> Assets -> Options -> Setup   
  • Setup -> Site    
  • System -> Configuration

Select System, and then People -> Activity -> Search:

Search retention configuration

1. Edit/configure:    

Log action for (days) 

Enter the number of days for which records of search data should be retained.    

Archived after (days)       

Enter the required number of days. After this period, search data can be accessed via the log files on the server.
