The “virtual home page” has been removed and the welcome page will become the true home page. This removes the need for redirection and improves SEO.
The current home page will be promoted to “/” and the old URL will not persist. A redirect page may be used if there are fixed links to this URL. However, all content links will update automatically.
Adjustment may be required to the side navigation stylesheets. EIBS created stylesheets will be amended accordingly.
