User Training Courses

EIBS offers three options for user training: Authoring/Administration training, Train the trainer or bespoke training sessions.

This page details the Easysite training courses available from Ideagen. To request training please complete our Training Requirements Form.

There are three options for Easysite user training:

  • Standard author/administration training

  • Train the trainer

  • Bespoke training

Authoring and Administration

Overview

The Easysite User training course is comprised of two sessions. The first covers page authoring and basic site administration. The second day includes modules and more advanced administration options.

  • Page authors need only attend the morning of the first session.

  • Delegates for day two should have attended day one.

To allow delegates to consolidate their learning, the two sessions should take place in different weeks. Allowing delegates to practice the skills acquired in session one will maximise the time available in session two.

In order to ensure timely delivery of the course content, whilst meeting the learning needs of each delegate, User training sessions are available for up to six people.  If you have any other requirements please contact your Project Manager. Alternatively, contact our Training Manager.

In order to maximise both the time available and the effectiveness of the training, please make the following equipment available for the session:

  • 1 PC or laptop per delegate

  • 1 PC or laptop for the presenter or, alternatively, the facility to connect a laptop to the network.

  • All PC’s and/or laptops to have internet access and have Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 9.0 or above (please check that native IE9 or above is in use and machines are not in compatibility mode) installed.

  • If a wireless network is to be used, please test connectivity prior to the training session.

  • A PC projector & screen for the presenter (although we can provide these if necessary)

  • Flipchart and pens
